Alumni Talk

An interactive session with Mr. Gokul Chippada(2001-05 batch), an alumni of CSE Department was held on 28th August,2010. He is currently working as Asst. System Analyst, TCS, Hyderabad. He addressed III/IV ECE students and spoke about the corporate culture, importance of team work and effective communication skills. He shared his experience as a student of Business Management at Amity International Business School, Gurgoan, New Delhi and talked at length about the necessary extracurricular skills to be acquired by a student to have a successful career. He gave a few tips to the audience regarding the extensive preparation for all types of competitive examinations including campus recruitment. The session was organized by the Department of English & Humanties. Ms. Rupa Vemuri, HOD and the faculty were also present on the occasion.

An interactive session with Ms. D. Sri Gowri (2005-08 batch), an alumni of EEE Department was held on 4th September, 2010. She is currently working as Systems Engineer, Infosys, Bangalore. She addressed III/IV IT students and shared her experience of corporate world. She advised her juniors to concentrate more on their communication skills and presentation skills which are very vital for a bright career path. The audience had an enriching interaction with her and posed queries regarding various career options available after under graduation

S.Lt. Sridhar Rao, (an alumni 2006-10 batch, ECE branch) currently employed in Permanent cadre of Indian Navy addressed the final year IV/IV Mech & BT students on 29th June, 2011 at 2.00p.m in Centre for Communication skills which was arranged by Dept. of English & Humanities. He recollected his experience in the initial selection round that was held in ANITS Campus in November, 2009. He further elaborated on preparatory steps that he undertook for the Interview rounds in SSB for selection in Indian Navy and also on the various training sessions he underwent during his training period in Indian Naval Academy. S.Lt. Sridhar Rao has achieved the feat of being the first engineer to be selected from ANITS in the permanent cadre of Indian Navy.
